File processing
Tables, bundles, intermediate values and downloads are all handled on your computer, including any expression values and coordinates in a bundle.
Data privacy
Files you open stay in your browser. There is no stRSC server that receives them.Session data
Closing or reloading the tab clears the analysis. Open the files again to repeat it.
De-identified inputs
Use research codes such as P01 or sample_01. Keep names, record numbers, contact details, full dates and other identifying information out of file names, columns and IDs.
Network requests
The pages, styles and example files come from the hosting service, which sees ordinary request information when it serves them. So does the copy of Python that the RSC and pairwise analyses run in your browser; the counts and predictions you give it are not sent anywhere.
The site sets no cookies and has no analytics, tracking or advertising code, so it can be used anonymously, for instance during peer review.
